Read To Your Pet @ Your Library!
It’s fun to Read@ G.D.G.W.S. Library!
Reading is Fundamental for knowledge growth, for expansion of culture, for fun and for finding new ways to express your ideas and many more reasons. Television and Internet have become integral part of our day today life and studies and there is less and less free time for reading, though the fact remains a fact that people who read more often frequently have a bigger knowledge of life and also bigger perspective of their environment. Reading also gives them an advantage over all others who do not read frequently.
Here at G.D.Goenka World School Library, Fun filled Space and Time has been created for young Goenkans where they are reading their favorite stories to their favorite pet soft toys. They have selected story books themselves and created Book Marks to remember what story to tell to their pet in the library time.
“My pet has read many books at night when he was here at night”, “My pet is feeling hungry looking at this porridge”, my pet loves me more because I am reading to him”. Young readers came up with many statements about this fun filled and boredom bursting experience.
